The On-Stage MBS-LP1 Low-Profile Broadcast Boom Arm provides you with quiet, quick, and easy positioning of your microphone for recording podcasts, broadcasting webcasts and live streams, or participating in remote collaboration. Extending from below instead of above, this style of boom arm reduces visual obstruction for you and your viewers. The industry-standard 5/8"-27-threaded stem at the end of the upper arm accepts a wide range of clips and shock mounts for dynamic and condenser microphones. A camera-mount adapter is included, and the stem also supports other 5/8"-27-threaded accessories such as phone and tablet holders and ring lights. For versatile and precise mic placement, the lower and upper shafts both swivel 360 degrees, while the upper shaft adjusts in angle from straight up to fully horizontal. Plus, the angle of the mounting stem is also adjustable. All of these settings lock in place using tightening knobs to ensure the stability of your equipment. Adjustments can be made on the fly, as the hinges are very quiet. For a neat and organized setup, you can route your mic cable inside the channels in the underside of the arm and hold it in place with the included clips. To attach the base to your desk, table, or workstation, there are two options included: a C-clamp for quick setup and a flange mount. The clamp firmly grips your tabletop or desktop measuring up to 2.5" thick and features rubber padding that protects the finish of your furniture while ensuring slip-free placement. The flange mount screws into your work surface if you prefer a semipermanent installation.
