The MMCS is a direct replacement for the five string Music Man large profile bass pickup. This humbucking pickup has wide bobbins combined with a large coil surface area that gives the MMCS an incredibly rich bass tone. Utilizing EMG’s popular ceramic and steel (CS) design, the MMCS is a great mixture of transparent high end with a powerful and warm low-end.
EMG's active preamp makes this pickup rich with harmonics and whisper quiet. This is a great alternative to the stock Music Man pickup and it comes with EMG's solderless wiring and pots.
